Our Team

is a dedicated entrepreneur specializing in sustainable forestry, conservation, and ecological restoration. As the co-founder of Green Balam Woods, he leads initiatives that promote responsible wood production while preserving Guatemala’s rich biodiversity.

With extensive experience in forestry management, reforestation, and conservation projects, he has played a key role in restoring degraded landscapes and implementing sustainable land-use practices. His work extends beyond forestry, encompassing the management of private nature reserves, the development of ecotourism initiatives, and the exploration of innovative solutions such as carbon and biodiversity credits.

As a passionate entrepreneur and business driven individual, I co- founded Green Balam Woods with a vision to bridge sustainability and high-quality exotic hardwoods. My journey has been shaped by a deep love for nature and a commitment to making a positive impact on both the environment and local communities.

Originally from Guatemala, I’ve always felt a strong connection to the country’s rich biodiversity, especially the Maya Biosphere Jungle. That connection inspired me to create a business that not only provides premium, sustainably sourced hardwoods but also contributes to reforestation efforts in this vital region.
