- Growth ring boundaries distinct (demarcated by very narrow marginal parenchyma bands). Heartwood basicallybrown, yellow, white or grey; with streaks (dark brown). Sapwood colour distinct from heartwood colour (somewhat greenish). Density 0.85–0.93–0.98 g/cm³.
